Professor Snehal Awate’s research is at the intersection of strategic management and international business. She studies firms’ knowledge management strategies by employing network analyses. Her research has appeared in several top ranked journals such as Strategic Management Journal, Journal of International Business Studies, Global Strategy Journal, Journal of Economic Geography, Journal of International Management, and California Management Review. She serves on the editorial review boards of Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of International Business Policy, and Global Strategy Journal. Professor Awate received her PhD in Strategic Management from the Fox School of Business, Temple University, USA. Prior to joining IITB, she worked with the Indian School of Business (ISB) for about seven years.
